English Now! has been bringing people together in Bethesda, Maryland, outside of Washington, D.C., since 1991 – and now we bring people together all over the world in small group classes and online private lessons.
Online Small Group Classes
Online small group classes at English Now! meet on a platform called Zoom, for high-quality, easy access to the classroom. Zoom is easy to use. See the image to the left for what it looks like to attend a Zoom “meeting” (class). To join, download Zoom and enter the class’s Meeting ID or click on a link. Classes are small – six students maximum, and many are even smaller – to ensure a personalized approach and plenty of interaction online. And our online classroom permits you to meet classmates from around the world, as you advance in your English. See what an online class is like. Online Private Lessons
English Now! online private lessons are an option for students who want to extend their classroom experience from the convenience of their home or office. Your 50-minute private online tutorial will be engaging and interactive. Online tutorials emphasize the skills that are most important to your studies: conversational English, grammar, reading, writing, listening, or speaking. English Now! online private lessons are a great option for busy parents and professionals who want a flexible way to improve their English. These sessions offer the same unique and personalized approach that makes English Now! a special place to learn English.
What You Will Need for Online Classes
To study in online classes, you will need (1) a desktop or laptop computer, tablet, or even a smartphone; (2) video capability as well as headphones or earbuds for privacy; and 3) high-speed internet access.
Schedule and Tuition
- Tuition for online classes is the same as for our classes at the school. For tuition information, see information about our Semi-Intensive and Intensive English Programs and our Conversation Programs.
- Private online private online lessons are 50 minutes long, and tuition is $43/session. Students must enroll for a minimum of 10 online sessions.
- New students will also pay a one-time $40 registration fee. Books and materials are billed at the cost to the school.
